Alex is from Kenilworth, NJ (not that far from the cast of Jersey Shore). Aside from playing water polo, Alex likes to occasionally hang out with his friends (usually the guys he rocks speedos with) and is an avid scholar. Most people know him on the team as "Portal", which comes from a bizarre inside joke.
