John is currently a freshman in the School of Arts and Sciences majoring in Political Science. He graduated in 2014 from Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland.

John is entering his first year with the Eagles. He played two years in High School. John also swims for the Boston College varsity swim team.

John is from Bethesda, Maryland. He is the second child of Donald and Magdalena Mooers and the brother of Stephen Mooers (Catholic University of America Class of 2016) and Annie Mooers (Academy of the Holy Cross High School Class of 2015).
