The Eagles were able to build on their 2015 success, claiming the New England Division Championship and finsishing 9th place at Nationals! The team's path started all the way back in August, the week before classes started, with two aday practices supplemented by intense drylands led by Clifford/Gannon Inspirational Player award winner Brendan Koch. As the season progressed, BC went on to go 4-0 in the BU tournament and 3-1 in the Yale tournament. The only regular season loss came at the hands of Dartmouth College, who the boys ended up beating in the conference championship.
To complete the season, Boston College went 3-1 at the CWPA Club National Championships. In their first game, they were met by emerging varsity program McKendree University. McKendree proved to be the teams toughest competition of the weekend as BC fell 12-10 in overtime. Although playing well at times, BC was inconsistent in their execution against a well conditioned McKendree team and failed to get the win. This loss was followed by three dominating wins against Duke, Notre Dame and Grand Valley State. Each travelling player was able to contribute quality playing time. We would like to express a big thanks to all the family, friends and alumni that donated in order to fund the team's trip to Nationals and Notre Dame.
